My original headboard order arrived quickly, but unfortunately it was damaged in transit. The damage occurred when the transit company altered the original packing. I called customer service/shipping when it arrived and they handled it professionally and quickly right over the phone; helping me fill out the paperwork for an easy refusal of package. They then contacted me right back for getting a second piece sent out. Everything I have ever ordered has been very well packed and protected in shipment. I have been impressed with the care taken with each piece of furniture. My second headboard was shipped right away and arrived in perfect condition. It came very well packaged. The only down side was the time and effort to get rid of all of the packaging. Though I know that was done to protect the piece - it did arrive unscathed.
If I had realized how heavy it was and how much packaging (cardboard, plastic, styrofoam, particle board, wooden palette), I would have paid the extra for the "white glove delivery" service. Either way, we have a lovely and versatile new piece of furniture."

My dear Miko,

Just a note to let you know that the sculptures arrived today, perfectly packed and absolutely stunning in every way. Bad weather delayed delivery by a day, but the upshot is that everything arrived for the Chinese New Year. What an auspicious omen!

Not surprisingly, the online photos don't begin to do either piece justice. They exemplify virtuoso carving of the highest order. Although I missed getting my first choice among the smaller carvings, the one I now have is superb, with the added virtue of possessing what is surely a very rare color.

As you requested, I've attached a photo of the large mountain scene in its new setting. (The two Tibetan pieces belong to my brother, who got them in Tibet in 1987.) This is a genuine treasure, an exceptionally fine museum-quality piece of breathtaking refinement (and, to my great delight, carved on both sides!).

Thank you so much for helping these precious works become part of my life.
