Dear China Furniture & Arts,

I purchased the Queen Size Elmwood Platform Bed with Cherry Blossom headboard.

I am extremely happy with it!!!

I searched long & hard to find a solid wood platform bed [many just have slats for the platform].
This bed had everything I was looking for: solid wood platform, drawers, headboard, dark stain, and a special look [not generic].
Nonetheless, buying something so big & important online, sight unseen, made me somewhat nervous.
Add to that the fact that I was in the process of moving & the timing of delivery was tricky.

My salesperson, Mikko, was fantastic - he described in great detail how the bed was constructed & how it would look. He was happy to take all my calls, answer all my questions & work out the delivery challenge.

All throughout the process, the Customer Service team kept me informed by email of each step.

The White Glove delivery team brought the bed in perfect condition and did a great set-up job.
Note: this bed is in 3 pieces that fit together simply by slipping the headboard into integrated slots - no tools needed!!!!
The delivery team was amazed at easy it was and also said it was the best made bed they had ever delivered!!

The new bed does not have any off-gas odor or varnish fumes - Mikko assured me it would not smell and he was right - this was important to me as I am chemically sensitive.

My only minor negative would be that the finish has a shiny, almost lacquer look - my preference is for a matte or satin luster.

I would rate the product & the service A+ and would definitely recommend it to others.

I am so happy with my purchases from China Furniture and Arts.
1. Ordering through Miko was such a pleasure. He was fun and very thorough in explaining all associated additional costs.
2. The packaging is unbelievable. It would take someone dropping the package from a very high place to do any harm to the contents.
3. The products are amazing. Pictures cannot do them justice. They are more beautiful than the website pictures and the ones I've taken. Seeing them in person is the only way to truly enjoy such beauty.

FYI...I ordered the dark shoe benches before laying the hardwood floors. The floors turned out darker than expected. Placing the dark benches on the dark floor caused the longevity design to disappear, so I added a shiny gold fabric behind the doors in order to bring it out. I tried red to match the cushion, but could not find a good match. The gold brings out the gold in the cushions as well as the lighter gold coloring in the table and bamboo shades. I'm in the process of remodeling my home so my wall hangings and knick-knacks are still in storage. I will have to send you pictures when it's complete so the true effect of these lovely pieces can be fully appreciated.
