Description
Estimated to be 100 years old, this Shan Xi province made canopy bed is a beautiful creation of artistic mastery. Every wooden detail of this bed is hand carved with high-quality elm lumber. The front of the bed is particularly eye catching. It mimics an elaborate Chinese moon door framed by fifteen separate, but narratively connected images. Each picture was hand carved with care and precision. There are 5 separate windows in the back and another 3 on both the left and right surround the bed.These windows can be left open or closed off with raised adjustable panels. Closing off the bed reveals a set of beautiful hand painted images. Below the adjustable windows are another set of pictures.
Care
Antique wood furniture and decor should not be cared for in the same way that modern furniture is cared for. Avoid polishes, abrasives, and oils as this can alter the piece over time. Like all wood furniture, avoid direct exposure to sunlight, heating vents, and other heat sources as the dryness caused by these can damage the wood.
Regular cleaning can be done using a damp microfiber cloth. Make sure to remove any excess moisture left behind.
Delivery
Each order is carefully inspected and packaged before it leaves our warehouse to avoid damage during transit. Every shipment is fully insured at no extra cost to you.
This item is shipped via third party trucking carrier within 3-10 business days. The delivery agent will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment once the shipment arrives into the local delivery terminal. The tracking information will be sent to you when your order ships. A signature is required for the delivery. Please

We have 3 shipping options available for you to select:
Most economical and basic delivery method. Shipment will be delivered to the end of the driveway near the curb. If there is no driveway, it will be delivered to the closest sidewalk/passageway near the curb where the truck will be parked for delivery.
Shipment will be delivered into the garage or to the front door as long as there are no steps leading to the door, otherwise it can be left in front of the steps near the front door. Shipment will be delivered into the lobby for apartments that have a lobby.
Premium delivery to the ground floor with 2-man uncrating, unpacking, inside placement with room of choice and debris removal.
Please inspect the package for visible damage before the carrier leaves. In the unlikely event you receive a damaged item due to shipping, please mark on the Proof of Delivery (delivery receipt) "damaged" before signing. We may not be able to process a damage claim without the Proof of Delivery marked "damaged".

Take an entire month to live with your purchase to decide if it's right for you. All ChinaFurnitureOnline.com orders may be returned for a 15% restocking fee up to 30 days after the order is delivered. To return an item, simply

We cannot accept returns for custom/special ordered merchandise.
