This figure depicts a young lady playing the Guqin, a traditional Chinese seven-stringed Zither. The Guqin has, since ancient time, favoured by scholars and literati as the instrument of great subtety and refinement. Thus, playing the Guqin is the symbol of a well-versed and educated individual.

Care
Always remember that porcelain and other types of ceramics are delicate and fragile, so careful maintenance is important. Dust can be removed with a microfiber cloth.
